There is a wonderful free event for children and families to enjoy at Blaise Castle House Museum in Henbury on Saturday 3rd December.
Victorian Christmas at Blaise Castle House Museum is a chance for families to experience how Christmas was celebrated in Victorian times through activities such as storytelling, party games and festive craft activities.
The house will be decked with boughs of holly and Victorian Christmas decorations giving a cosy and authentic atmosphere where you will almost be able to believe you have stepped back into the past.
The event is from 11am – 3.30pm and no booking is required – just drop-in when it suits. It is a free event though donations are welcome.
You can find Blaise Castle House Museum on Henbury Road, Henbury BS10 7QS.
If this event doesn’t get you in the mood for Christmas then nothing will!
