If you are a mum to young children living in or near Horfield or Lockleaze who is experiencing anxiety, antenatal or postnatal depression, do come along to the Time Out For Mums meet-up this Friday.

Time Out For Mums is an informal group which meets twice a month at Filton Avenue Children’s Centre and is especially for mums needing support with their emotional wellbeing, related to their new role as mums.

It is a friendly and welcoming group organised by Bluebell Care, a Bristol charity which supports mums, dads and families who are affected by anxiety, antenatal and postnatal depresssion.

Bluebell Care’s services support mums, dads and families living in Bristol and beyond, and include supportive groups, befriending, advice, one-to-one listening and information.

You can come along to the group along with your children on a Friday session between 1 – 2.30pm, and take some time out while playworkers entertain your little ones.

The group provides a safe and supportive environment where you can relax with a cup of tea and some cake, read, paint your nails and enjoy other relaxing activities.

You will be able to meet other mums who are also experiencing antenatal or postnatal depression or anxiety.

As well as the meet-up this Friday, there is another meet-up planned on Friday 3rd February.

You can find Filton Avenue Children’s on Blakeney Road, BS7 0DL. If you would like to find out more about the group or book a place at one of the sessions, please phone Paula on 0773 0367 476 or Filton Avenue on 0117 377 2680.
