If you are a mum or dad in business, this Freelance Mum networking event on Wednesday 8th March will be of interest!
The event is being held by Freelance Mum, Faye Dicker, who holds networking events once a month in a family environment – children welcome!
This particular Freelance Mum networking session promises to be extra exciting as it will be celebrating International Women’s Day with a ‘Brave, Bold and Bonkers’ theme!
The event will be held from 10am – 2pm at the old HTV Television Studio, on Bath Road and there will be three guest speakers telling their story about what it took to be Brave, Bold or Bonkers when it came to making their mark in their business.
First up will be Adventuress, Jacki Hill-Murphy, who will be sharing her stories of retracing female explorers footsteps and filmmaking.
Fresh back from the Amazon, Jacki explains the importance of making these journeys and following the footsteps of these brave forgotten female adventurers.
The second guest speaker will be Bristol artist, Emmie Simpson, who will be boldly leading parents into a creative masterpiece!
Famous for her iconic images of Bristol, everyone will be colouring in a giant, original, Emmie Simpson hand drawing which will later be auctioned off for the Above and Beyond Charity.
Last but not least will be Cbeebies presenter, Katy Ashworth who will be talking about the ups, downs and bonkers life of being a freelance single mum, while being a public figure and children’s entertainer.
As with all Freelance Mum events, children will be made very welcome and thoroughly entertained. There will be craft from Luke Drew, plus there will be a Play Time Story Tent from Brave, Bold Drama.
There will be lunch and refreshments provided throughout the day which will include gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan alternatives and tea, coffee, chocolate truffles, salads, flatbreads and fruit will also be available.
After lunch there will be the Freelance Mum signature ‘netwalk’ after lunch to allow children to sleep and adults to wake up!
Tickets are £25 per adult, £45 if you bring a friend and £4 per child. To book your place please BOOK HERE.
Brave, Bold and Bonkers promises to be an amazing event!
