Windows in Windmill Hill and Victoria Park will be transformed into an outdoor gallery on the evenings of Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th March with the return of Window Wanderland!

The weekend will be the second year the community lights up the streets in a fun, creative way with a trail of illuminated windows and gardens, bringing together the local community in a unique way.

Last year nearly seventy homes took part for the first time in Window Wanderland which was inspired by the original event in Bishopston conceived of by Lucy Reeves.

The weekend event also marks the re-opening of Mrs Brown’s Café after its winter break. The cafe will be serving delicious hot drinks and cakes during the event which promises to be as ‘wanderful’ as last year!

This year the event organisers hope to raise money for the fantastic Bristol charity, Jessie May Children’s Hospice.

A map with the participating windows is available on the website: http://www.windowwanderland.com/event/windmill-hill-victoria-park-2017/

Please come along to Windmill Hill and Victoria Park this Saturday and Sunday from 6 – 9pm and join residents, local businesses and community groups and pupils from the local schools as the community lights up windows and gardens.
