Armed Forces Day in Staple Hill & Page Park: Saturday 24th June

On Saturday 24th June 10.30am – 4pm there will be an Armed Forces Day event in Staple Hill and Page park in the BS16 area of Bristol.

A free event suitable for children and families, Armed Forces Day will honour the country’s past, present and future military forces in air, land and sea units.

There will be a parade along Staple Hill High Street and Broad Street which will begin about 11am and which will include military vehicles, marching bands, veterans and cadet groups.

The procession will end in the park, where a drumhead ceremony will be held by a local reverend.

There will  be many activities, entertainment, stalls and stands in Page Park, plus performances from the Bristol Military Wives Choir and other bands.
