This Saturday children will have the chance to become skeleton detectives at Bristol’s M Shed!
Skeleton Spectacular is a free family day of skele-tastic fun with lots of great activities to enjoy such as games, dressing-up and visiting M Shed’s exciting exhibition, Skeletons: Our Buried Bones.
Children can become skeleton detectives for the day and improve their forensic skeleton CSI skills with M Shed’s team of skeleton experts and analyse skeleton ‘bones’, plus enjoy a host of other skeleton-related craft activities.
TV presenters Lizzie Daly and Ben Garrod will be joining families to re-build an actual orangutan skeleton with talks planned at 11.30am and 2pm.
Families can also learn some untold stories about the skeletons on show and learn why there’s more to them than meets the eye with Gail Boyle, M Shed’s Senior Curator of Archaeology.
Skeleton Spectacular will be held on Saturday 15th July from 11am – 4pm and no booking is needed, just drop-in. It is a ‘pay what you think’ event.
M Shed can be located on Princes Wharf, Wapping Road, BS1 4RN.
