Free Summer Holiday Activities for Kids at Lawrence Weston Community Farm

This Summer Lawrence Weston Community Farm has organised some exciting free events for children and families.

There are eleven events planned, all of which are free (donations welcome) and drop-in with no booking needed.

Aside from these activities, Lawrence Weston Community Farm is fantastic to take your kids to at any time and is open Tuesday – Sunday, 9.30am – 4.30pm.

It offers sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks and bees, an outdoor soft play area for young children plus 8 acres of green space including a community orchard, wildlife area and a Water Vole Woodland!

Kids’ Bike Workshops

Children can bring their bikes along to the farm to learn how to mend, adjust and clean it. All ages.

Woodland Family Cooking

Share your cooking skills and ideas while everyone cooks a Summer vegetable stew together on the fire. All ages.

The Farm’s 30th Birthday Family Fun Day

Lots of fun for all of the family including making time capsules, dinosaur activities, birthday cake eating, face painting, music, games, nature activities and much more!

Children’s Centre Farm Afternoon

All children under 8 years welcome to join staff from Long Cross Children’s Centre to explore the farm and take part in simple activities.
