This Summer there are some great free children’s activities in Westbury-on-Trym!
Part of the celebrations to mark 1300 years of Christian worship on the site of Westbury-on-Trym Parish church, the village has been yarn bombed with purple and there are also pom poms and other beautiful creations adorning trees, lamp posts and shops to admire!
The local Rainbows, Beavers, Cubs, Guides and Scouts of Westbury-on-Trym have also drawn up a Summer Holiday Activity Sheet for children to do.
Children are challenged find wonderful knitted toys and creatures hidden in shop windows – there are owls, cats, fairies, teddies, caterpillars and more to discover!
There are also butterflies in trees, animals on bins and pom poms decorating the village, all of which must be found!
