Tiny Steps Performances have yet again prepared another amazing performance for you and your little ones on Saturday 28th October!
In the spirit of Halloween, children (and grown-ups too!) are invited to dress up and go wild with their imaginations and the best costume will get a free slice of freshly baked home-made cake!
The Tiny Steps team are hoping to see lots of little witches and vampires and other creatures in the wonderful venue – Redland United Park Reformed Church. Let’s get the party going!
The performance will feature theatre, music and dance ranging from contemporary to ballet and will be ideal for children aged 0 – 8, but older sisters and brothers will enjoy it too!
Children will love the classic magical fairy tale of Hansel and Gretel performed through acting and movement by professional dancers and performers, Svetlana Ovsyannikova and Herbert DesLauriers.
You will see the sadness of parents at a loss, the innocence of Gretel and the beauty of love between siblings who stand together and survive no matter what.
Following the performance there will be an after-show workshop where children can learn a few dance moves with the performers!
Plus, there will be quality coffee, tea, squash and delicious home-made cakes available after the performance.
Tiny Steps Performances have been created by mum, professional dancer and founder of OvDa Dance Company, Svetlana Ovsyannikova, who lives in Bristol with her husband Ben and her two young children, Amaya and Rupert.
Svetlana created Tiny Steps performances to inspire, share passion for dance and to merge the gap between performers and the audience at performances which is why all Tiny Steps performances encourage children to join in with the music and dancing!
As well as Tiny Steps Performances, Svetlana also runs Dance Mums fitness classes for mums with babies and toddlers in Bedminster and St Werburghs.
Svetlana is currently also assembling a new toddler and parent focus dance class called OvDa creative toddler and parent combo dance!
The Tiny Steps Performance of Hansel and Gretel will be held on Saturday 28th October, 10.30 – 11.30am at Redland Park United Reformed Church, Whiteladies Road, Redland BS6 6SA.
