This Sunday 10am – 4pm there will be a magical Christmassy event like no other. Santa will be visiting Eastville Park and setting up his Grotto at the lakeside, along with his elf helpers and reindeer!
Santa’s Grotto at the Lake is a community event organised by Frome Fairies and the Friends of Eastville Park where children can visit Santa in his Grotto and enjoy a brilliant ‘Grotto Adventure’ with some fun surprises along the way! Kids will receive a lovely present from Santa, too.
There will be festive face painting and a Christmas craft area where children can create their own hanging Santa, plus other arty crafty fun.
There will be live music including a proper piano by the lakeside entertaining children and families with some great tunes! And, there’ll be some funky light and laser shows, too!
To keep you and your children warm there will be snacks and drinks, including wonderful warming homemade soup.
Santa’s Grotto at the Lake is open to all children is £3 per child. No booking is required, just turn up when convenient.
It is worth mentioning that there is a 2-minute walk to the lake from each of the entrances to Eastville Park and toilets are at the main park entrance but there are none at the event site.
Eastville Park is a wonderful place to visit with kids at any time of the year and as well as the beautiful lake, offers woodland, wild flower meadows, a children’s play area and much more.
