On Wednesday 30th May 2-4pm there will be a Free Family Fun Afternoon at Lawrence Weston Community Farm with lots of child-friendly fun on offer!

The event is being held to celebrate the construction of the farm’s new office and community building after a fire destroyed the previous one.

The fun includes woodland games such as the ancient game of Smite, Woodland Kerplunk and Willow Hoopla, plus there will be Bridge Making and Woodland Leaf Printing.

The APE Project will also be there with fun activities including wand making and den building!

And, there will be delicious pizza freshly made in the farm’s pizza oven for £3 and the Juicy Blitz Juice Bar will also be there should you be in need of some refreshment.

Entry to the Family Fun Afternoon is free, as are all of the activities, however donations to the community farm will be gratefully received.

Lawrence Weston Community Farm is  open 9.30am – 4.30pm Tuesday to Sunday, all year round. It includes pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, guinea pigs, ducks and bees!

The farm is surrounded by beautiful green space including a secret garden complete with poly tunnel and a Water Vole Woodland Walk.

There is also an outdoor soft play area for the summer months and picnic area to enjoy.
