On Saturday 23rd June 12-8pm there is a fun free community event happening in Fishponds Park, Bristol.

The annual family fun day, Party in the Ponds, will be taking place and this year’s event will be extra special!

The event has been organised by members of Fishponds community and is free entry. There will be lots of kids’ activities including wood carving, face painting, hair braiding, arts and crafts and games.

Adding to the party atmosphere will be live music including an Elton John tribute band and Riff Raff Choir, plus exciting entertainment such as a Tae Kwon Do display, African Sambistas and the MET Kids’ Performance.

What’s more, the Red Arrows are scheduled to make an appearance and fly over the Party!

They will pass over with trails on their way to an Air show at approximately 4:13pm, subject to acceptable weather conditions, fuel levels and some other factors.

There’ll also be lots of stalls to look at, plus delicious freshly cooked food including waffles, cakes, desserts and ice cream, Jamaican food, samosas and flatbreads, plus alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy!
