Go Wild: Fair Saturday, a fun day for families at M Shed on Saturday 24th November

On Saturday 24th November M Shed will be hosting a fun day for all of the family called Go Wild: Fair Saturday.

The event is part of a global movement which aims to boost arts, culture and social causes the day after Black Friday – the greatest expression of consumerism.

The free event will take place from 11am – 4pm and will run on a drop-in basis, no booking needed.

Children and adults will enjoy stepping into the world of a bat and testing their hunting skills using the museum’s handheld sonar. The task is to identify all the moths using sound alone!

You can also enjoy sipping fairly traded tea with Pukka Herbs, seeing the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition (normal charges apply) and finding out about Avon Wildlife Trust and their year-round activities.

Although Fair Saturday is a free event, M Shed will be raising money for Avon Wildlife Trust.

You can find M Shed on Princes Wharf, Wapping Road, BS1 4RN.
