On Sunday 16th December 11am – 5pm there will be a magical Christmassy event at Eastville Park. Santa will be visiting and setting up his Grotto at the lakeside, along with his elf helpers and reindeer!

Santa’s Grotto on the Lake is a community event organised by Frome Fairies and the Friends of Eastville Park. Children can visit Santa and enjoy a ‘Grotto Adventure’ with some fun surprises along the way, plus receive a lovely present, too.

As well as Santa’s Grotto, there will be a Christmas nature craft area where children can enjoy some arty fun, plus games, Selfies with Santa, plus live music by the lakeside entertaining children and families with some great tunes!

And, there’ll be a funky light show, too!

There will also be a ‘Quiet Session’ for children with autism and others with similar needs at 10-10.30am. Please book in advance on the Santa’s Grotto on the Lake facebook event page.

Snacks and drinks will also be available.

Eastville Park is a wonderful place to visit with kids at any time of the year and as well as the beautiful lake, offers woodland, wild flower meadows, a children’s play area and much more.

You can find Eastville Park on Fishponds Road, BS5 6XA. Last admission to the Grotto will be 4pm. £3 entry fee to Santa’s Grotto, under 3s free.
