On Sunday 1st September there will be a fabulous free family festival in Mina Road Park, St Werburghs!
Organised by St Werburghs Community Centre and taking place from 1-5pm, the annual community event will be packed full of fun things to do for all ages.
There will be four fun zones, with something to suit every age and taste:
CHILDREN’S ZONE: FREE bouncy castle and messy play workshop, a gig for little people and their grown ups, face painting and more…
YOUTH ZONE: FREE workshops including a graffiti workshop, Streetdancing workshops and show, a drumming workshop, hoola hooping workshop, a tradtional shaolin martial arts workshop and more!
ENTERTAINMENT ZONE: an amazing array of Live music to get your feet stomping, bar serving local booze, freshly cooked food by Werbs and Herbs, Cakes and Pastries, yum! There will be plenty of picnic areas and cafe seating areas.
WELL-BEING: FREE taster sessions and workshops to include reiki and crystals, Tai chi, yoga and various other alternative therapies.
And, there will be lots of stalls selling local goods including clothes, jewellery, books and vinyl records, plus there’ll be talks across the park, a raffle and loads more!
