People of Bristol enjoy cheering display of smiley faces decorating sky

On the evening of Tuesday 2nd June, people in Bristol were amazed to witness a cheering display of smiley faces being created in the skies above.

Excited children and adults alike came out of their houses to watch the smiley faces being made; certainly an uplifting sight after weeks of lockdown.

The smiley faces were created by Richard Goodwin, a TUI pilot, who was flying in a Pitts S2 Muscle Bi-plane which he had built himself.

Thank you Richard, we loved watching your skills in the sky and the resulting art.  Please fly by again soon!
