This year’s Festival of Archaeology launches with a digital week from 11th – 19th July, a 9-day programme of over 50 free online archaeology events for children and adults.

Events include online tours of Roman London, ‘Richard III: the king under the car park’, ‘The Campaigns of Septimius Severus in the north of Britain’, ‘Exploring Archaeology through Minecraft’, ‘Buildings, Burials and Bones’ and ‘Lost Castles’, to name just a few!

All events are free and take place online so can be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home.
