This weekend in Bristol, there are lots of fun events for children and families.
From craft activities at Arnolfini, kids’ archaeology activities at Blaise Castle and boat rides on Bristol Harbour, there’s simply something for everyone. And, don’t forget about the Shaun in the City trail too!

Bristol’s Brilliant Archaeology: Blaise Castle House Museum

Join a whole host of Iron Age, Viking, Roman, Medieval and First World War re-enactors and have a go at being an archaeologist for the day.
Have a go at a variety of craft activities including making your own Roman gladiator helmets, an Iron Age torc or a Viking shield, as well as face painting ‘Iron Age style’, and dressing up in Iron Age, Roman and Medieval costumes.
