There’s so much fun for children and families this weekend in/near Bristol!

Lilliput Concert: Redland Park United Reformed Church

Live classical music from the Thornbridge Folk Trio taking place in a relaxed, baby-friendly environment. Bring your dancing shoes and gear up for a morning of traditional tunes and contemporary twists on the classics. The concert will be followed by quality coffee and delicious cake.

Victoria Park Festival

A fun day for all of the family organised by the Victoria Park Action Group. Includes live music, arts and crafts, dog show, poetry, kids’ entertainment, BBQ an much more.

Montpelier Bean Feast: Montpelier Park

Lots of free creative family fun including making a mosaic mural for the park, scrap sculptures and pompom headresses. There will also be live music, crafts for sale and more.

Harvest Festival at Golden Hill Community Garden

Lots of fun for children and adults at the community garden’s Harvest Fair. Music, storytelling, face painting, games, vegetable monsters, fresh pizza from the garden’s pizza oven, delicious cakes and more!

Aviation Fair at Bristol Airport

Lots to see and do for plane spotters young and old at this annual Aviation Fair, plus great views of the runway. All proceeds go to Children’s Hospice South West.

Castle Open Day at Blaise Castle, Henbury

If you and your little ones enjoy exploring castles then you will enjoy this! Today is the last Open Castle Day of the year of the centuries-old Blaise Castle. As well as being fun to explore inside the castle also offers some great views across Bristol.

Blaise Castle Estate also offers acres of  green space and woods, a free museum and a great kids play park.
