On Saturday 4th February Feed Bristol will be holding a Wassail to celebrate the turning of the seasons and to welcome the Spring.
A Wassail is an old, English ceremonial tradition held once a year in Winter and involves toasting and celebrating fruit trees in the hope of encouraging an abundance of fruit at Harvest time later in the year.
As well as the Wassail there will be plenty of fun to entertain both children and grown-ups such as Morris Dancers, a play performed by the Feed Bristol Mummers Troop, hot food from the café, a Nursery open day and more.
All children and families are welcome along to the event which will take place from 12 – 3pm at Frenchay Park Road, BS16 1EL.
Bring a poem, dance or cake to share!
