This October half-term there are some magical interactive children’s storytelling, music and dramatic play sessions planned with the wonderful Debutots .

The one-off Debutots sessions will introduce young children to a magical world of wonderful characters and beautiful music and will encourage speech and language skills, imagination and confidence.

The sessions will be delivered by Geri McKenna who has been formally trained in drama and runs regular Debutots sessions for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers in Totterdown and Emerson’s Green.

Over the Summer Geri also held some special Summer holiday classes which were a huge success and welcomed lots of new little Debutots and their parents and carers!

The special October Term Break sessions will take place in different locations around Bristol from 23rd – 27th October.

Children will celebrate the return of Autumn by meeting Rory the Rabbit as he tries to win The Perfect Pumpkin Competition.

This time, 5 – 7 year olds will have the chance to attend the Debutots Early Years Drama sessions, while 6 month – 4 year olds can have fun at Family Story Play sessions.

In the Early Years Drama sessions for 5 – 7 year olds, children move to music and help tell an interactive story. Then they jump into the story world and re-create the characters and scenery using their amazing imaginations.

In the Family Story Play sessions for babies, toddlers and young children, there is a blend of music, dancing, bubbles, puppets and a special version of the story that all will get up and re-tell through dramatic play (grown-ups too!)

Each session is £6 per child (paid in advance), with discounts for siblings. Each child will receive a special Debutots sticker and certificate, and tea/coffee and home baking will be available.
